We as members of the voting public call upon the government to make necessary changes to the current UK passport system for children under 16.

We propose that in cases of mixed marriages or where two parents are not together that In order for the child to be taken out of the UK, a written agreement should be made stating the appropriate permission from the other parent, the address of where the child will be residing overseas and the return date to the UK.

By making these changes we can protect our children and reduce the number of child abduction cases in the UK.
